ENERGY SAVINGS

You will save up to 30% but a few homes with proper insulation and other ideal conditions will save more than 30%.

So, why do some companies like LP that sell TechShield say they will save you only up to 17%.  Why?  Because TechShield is foil that is installed on the decking.  Because TechShield is installed on decking (without an air gap), TechShield can only block "up to" 97% of the heat entering your attic. GTri-Foil blocks a full 97% of the heat everytime.

But, there are other concerns you should consider like comfort. By reducing the radiant heat gain entering your attic, your home will be more comfortable and it will feel cooler.

Chances are you may even raise your thermostats a few degrees because you might feel too cool after installing GTri-Foil.

IMPORTANT: The more roof you have, the more your savings. One story homes will save more than two story homes.

It's not easy to determine your exact savings without a complete heat load analysis but one thing is sure, you will save a small fortune using radiant barrier. Consider the alternative; the cost of electricity and natural gas will continue to rise. Your savings will continue forever. GTri-Foil will last forever.

Radiant Barrier Foil does work!  It's guaranteed. Just don't believe anyone who tells you you will save 30% to 50% on your utility bills, most of you won't.

In Summary
GTri-Foil is a BIG way to reduce your utility bill but there are many other things you can do to make your home more comfortable and energy efficient. The following are some suggestions...

• Seal your ductwork
• Clean and service your A/C system
• Seal air leaks around outlets and other openings
• Increase Attic Ventilation (clean soffits)
• Add more Attic Insulation (turbines, ridge vents, soffits)
